The Meinl Sonic Energy Octave Steel Tongue Drum is crafted from high-quality stainless steel, ensuring durability and a rich sound. The drum features a central bass note surrounded by eight additional notes, each with two reeds that produce tones in two octaves. This creates a meditative sound that resembles the tonal quality of a handpan.
Sound Hole with Silicone Plug and Non-Slip Feet
At the bottom of the drum, there is a sound hole that can be closed with a silicone plug to create a more compact sound. Additionally, the drum is equipped with three silicone feet that prevent it from slipping during play.
Flexible Play Options and Accessories
You can play the Octave Steel Tongue Drum with the included mallets or simply with your fingers. Place it on a flat surface or on your lap and start playing. The drum comes with two wooden mallets with rubber heads and a convenient carrying bag with a zipper and handle, making transport and storage easy.
