GAL Q10+MCT oil 250 ml

Plant fermented Q10 in MCT oil, crystalline solution, stabilized.

There are two forms of Q10, reduced (ubiquinol) and unreduced (ubiquinone). Naturally, only the unreduced form can be produced (ideally by plant fermentation), but both forms are present in our bodies and in food, and we need both. The reduced form is very sensitive to heat, acid and light, and is oxidised by stomach acid. Thus, only the unreduced form is available orally. However, our body converts this to the reduced form as necessary, so although we only have access to the oxidised form, we have roughly the same amount of ubiquinol and ubiquinone circulating in our structure. The reduction is done by our antioxidant system, which if supported by even just a proper diet and e.g. a little vitamin C, is enough to do the job perfectly, no need to take the reduced form, which would be useless orally.

Q10 is a crystalline substance which is not soluble in aqueous media, but is only warmly soluble in oily media, and is difficult to keep in solution, while its absorption is poor if it is not crystalline. To overcome this problem, we have developed a simple solution of Q10, which is the highest possible concentration and which is able to keep Q10 in a crystal-free, dissolved state over a wide temperature range.

We dissolved it in MCT oil from palm kernel from sustainable farms to ensure that absorption is not impeded in case of insufficient egg production.

To ensure stability and also to support the proper reduction of Q10 within the body, we have added our unique antioxidant system, which consists of, among others, a supercritical extraction of Greek sage leaves, tocopherols and tocotrienols from red palm fruit and vegetable oils.

Recommended Intake:
Suggested Intake: 5 ml (2 tsp) per day in one or more doses. It is best taken with or without meals.
It is advisable to consume only 1 teaspoonful in the first few days, as MCT oil may initially cause mild diarrhoea in those sensitive to it (this is very rare below 10 ml per day). Over time this will subside and the dose can be increased.
