Percussion Marimbula
The marimbula is the ancient bass instrument of the Caribbean. The eight metal plates are mounted in a support system so that they can be individually tuned in the D-G range. It is factory tuned to a pentatonic scale (F major). Playing style: can be played with finger or percussion. When struck with percussion, the reeds sound in fresh overtones.
