Salvia Farinacea, also known as Blue Sage, is popular among Central American Native Americans who practice shamanism.

It is used for purification rituals, during which the plant is lit to release its sacred smoke. The smoke strengthens visions and drives away negative energies and evil forces. Observations have shown that 94% of bacteria were destroyed by this smoke.

The scent of Blue Sage is different from White Sage, reminiscent of lavender. Together with White Sage, it is a truly original combination of scents.

It is relatively easy to use. The bundle is lit, left to burn for a short time, blown out and left to cremate on a non-combustible support such as a shell, plate or bowl. The smoke spreading from the bundle can be dispersed around the room by hand or with a bundle of feathers. After the ceremony is complete, the end of the incense can be cut off, left to incinerate and the remainder of the bundle used in the following form.
