Himalayan Salt Lamps and Candleholders absorb moisture from the air.

If the lead lamp "sweats", this usually happens when it is left off for extended periods of time, especially in humid environments. When this happens, place the lamp in the sun for 4 to 5 hours and remove excess crystals with a soft brush or wipe with a dry, soft cloth. If the lamp is not to be used for a long period, unplug it from the connector. In a wet environment, it is advisable to place the lamp on a plate or a plate support.
