These gongs achieve their unique sound after countless hours of handcrafting: calm and atmospheric. The center is formed with delicate hammer strikes and is slightly recessed. The surrounding surface is scraped outward in a star shape and adorned with large hammer strikes, giving the instrument its distinctive and special appearance.
