Special bronze alloy and curved rim
The tam tams are made from a special bronze alloy and feature a curved rim, providing a wide range of sound characteristics. From long-lasting deep hums to contemplative rumbles and quick, explosive strikes, they are versatile for various musical settings and blend well with other gongs and instruments.
Harmony and balance
The Yin and Yang symbol on the tam tams represents harmony and balance. These two opposites do not fight each other, but complement one another. As Alfred Forke says: "The ancient principle moves and generates yang. When the movement reaches its end, it becomes still, and this stillness generates yin."
