Body with solid smoked alder top and bottom, SPL sides, beech back and Gabon front. The self-developed SC6 faceplate is fixed with glue and screws in a 50/50 ratio, in typical La Perù style. The striking face is partially compressed for greater striking sensitivity. This treatment provides unrivalled attack and control. While the alder/SPL body adds controlled bass, the 2 x 4 Cajon strings produce a rich yet ultra-precise pearly tone. Each string section can be individually tuned. All of this makes the spectacularly impressive "La Perù" Evo a very versatile instrument for any style of music.
