Thanks to the soothing, nourishing and water-repellent active ingredients in Sunshine Ointment, regular use can help prevent baby's bottom from reddening.The calabash oil, shea butter and St. John's wort macerate help to regenerate the flushed baby's bottom, the lanolin, beeswax and cocoa butter help to keep moisture away from the skin's surface, while the essential oils of medical lavender and sandalwood support the regeneration and healing of the skin. The ointment can help heal any irritated skin condition, such as regenerating the skin of the nose that has become red from colds and flushes, as well as the skin of the palms of the hands that have become red from windblown colds, chapped lips and chapped heels. It can also be used to soothe chapped, cracked and sore nipples of nursing mothers. After breastfeeding, apply a thin layer of Sunshine Ointment to the nipple and wash off any residue before the next breastfeeding.
