Bactericidal, fungicidal, antiviral, parasiticidal essential oil.
Its general disinfectant properties make it a very versatile essential oil. It can also be used in concentrated form, it does not sting bleeding wounds, making it an essential essential oil for wound care and first aid. Its antiseptic properties can be used for various infectious diseases such as colds, flu, sinus infections and ear infections. It is also effective against parasites, so it can be used to treat or prevent lice infestations, especially in combination with lavender and geranium essential oils. For immune boosting, it can be used throughout the autumn/winter season in spine rub mixtures, vaporised or mixed into massage oil.
It is essential for parents with young children, as the bruises and sores that are common in children can be easily and simply disinfected with tea tree essential oil.

When applying new essential oil topically, we recommend a skin test.
