Bergamot peel essential oil has photosensitizing properties. After rubbing, the affected area of skin should not be exposed to sunlight or tanning beds for 24 hours after application. In the case of pregnancy, the skin may be even more sensitive to photosensitising essential oils, so increased caution is advised when using on skin. Before using a specific recipe, make sure to check the contraindications for all the ingredients in the recipe. Use is not recommended in case of individual sensitivity or allergy to any of the ingredients. Side effects and interactions are not known. Do not apply the product to open wounds and beyond the expiry date. Do not use if the product is damaged. Care should be taken to avoid contact with eyes, mucous membranes (mouth, nose). For external use only! When using essential oils on the skin, we recommend mixing them with vegetable oil to avoid irritation.
