Litsea Cubeba essential oil

Cubeba ( Litsea Cubeba ) is a pleasant, fresh, citrus-scented essential oil from the fruits of a tree species native to China. The fruits are green, black pepper sized, from which the oil is made by steam distillation. Litsea Cubeba essential oil is effective in cases of nervousness, anxiety and stress. It has an invigorating, mood-enhancing effect. It cleanses, soothes and disinfects the skin, making it suitable for oily skin. Galdoil essential oils are produced by distillation, during which hot steam is passed through the removed plant parts, which opens the small pockets between the cells where the essential oil hides. The small aroma molecules stick to the water vapour particles and continue their journey through small tubes where they gradually cool the water. As the water cools, the essential oil is released and remains on the surface. This is separated from the surface of the water and bottled.
