Niaouli essential oil is not among the best smelling. However, what it lacks in aroma it makes up for in its many medicinal benefits. For example, it is an excellent choice for treating respiratory problems, skin infections and acne.

Aromatically, Niaouli essential oil is not generally considered a pleasant essential oil. It has an aroma reminiscent of camphor, earthy and slightly harsh.
