Cajaput essential oil is used to treat colds, headaches and toothache. It is very effective in fighting bacteria, viruses and fungi.
It is also an excellent insecticide, these properties are so strong that its dilute solution can be sprayed or vaporised using a vaporiser to repel mosquitoes, ants and many other nuisance insects and pests. A dilute solution of cajuput oil can also be rubbed on the body to keep insects away.
