What does it mean that it is tuned to 432Hz?

When you set up the tuner to measure what the pitch of the crystal singing bowl is, you should not set it to a 440 base, but to a 432 base.

Tuned to 432 Hertz does not mean that the frequency of the cymbal will be 432 Hz, it means that the note is measured on a 432Hz basis.
